Iraq Saudi Arabia-Iraq, Politics, 3/21/2003
Saudi Arabia has expressed its great concern and regret over the
beginning of the military operations against Iraq and renewed its
assertion that it will not in any way take part in the war against
Iraq.
The Saudi foreign minister prince Saud al-Faisal
expressed in a statement quoted by the Saudi news agency yesterday
his country's hope that the military operations will be stopped as
soon as possible and to return back to peaceful efforts.
He
stressed the need not to undermine Iraq's unity, internal safety and
regional security or for Iraq to be under any military occupation.
He stressed that the armed Saudi forces will not, at any rate, enter
even one inch of the Iraqi territories.
